James had his appointment with the pediatric cardiologist and we have a diagnosis: Mild Pulmonary Stenosis. This essentially means that his pulmonary valve is too tight and is causing a slight pressure buildup in one of the chambers of his heart, which is causing the murmur.
The good news is that this should not affect him in any way. He can still do strenuous sports (the doctor mentioned decathlons as fine) and should never need any type of intervention/procedure to treat this defect. However, it is something that we need to keep an eye on just in case it gets worse (which is apparently highly unlikely), so he will be going back to see the pediatric cardiologist in four months, near his first birthday, and then every year after that for the rest of his life.
While it was very hard to hear that there is something "wrong" with our precious boy, it is good to know that his condition will likely have no effect on his life.

Be well James. Your Aunt Jessica can give you lots of pointers on visiting those nasty cardiologists:)
